Link Building Packages & Pricing

Let us skip the "contact us for a custom quote" dance.

You want to know what this costs. Here is a straight answer.

Manual, white hat link building from real websites in your niche costs between $1,500 and $5,000+ per month.

That range is wide because the variables are real:

  • How difficult is your niche? A cybersecurity SaaS and a local plumber have very different outreach challenges.
  • What DR range are you targeting? Getting a DR 30 link is easier than a DR 70 link from the same niche.
  • How many links do you need per month? Volume and quality trade off against each other at every price point.
  • How competitive are your target keywords? If you are going after "best CRM software," you need more and better links than if you are targeting "HR software for startups in Dallas."

We cover this on the link building services page too. But let us get into the packages.

The three tiers

Starter — from $1,500/month

Best for: New sites building domain authority, local businesses, niche sites with low-to-moderate competition.

What you get:

  • 4–6 manually placed links per month
  • DR 30–60 target range
  • Full manual outreach — no network placements
  • Monthly report with every link, DR, URL, and anchor text
  • Campaign strategy and anchor text plan included
  • Email support

What this is not:

  • It is not a volume play. You are getting quality over quantity.
  • The links are real editorial placements, not paid insertions dressed up as outreach.

Realistic outcomes: Steady DR improvement over 3–6 months. Ranking gains in low-to-moderate competition terms within 4–8 months.

Growth — from $2,500/month

Best for: Established sites targeting competitive keywords, SaaS and B2B companies, e-commerce brands.

What you get:

  • 8–12 manually placed links per month
  • DR 40–70+ target range
  • Priority outreach and faster campaign ramp-up
  • Content angle development — we help you create the assets that earn links
  • Monthly strategy call (30 minutes)
  • Full reporting with campaign notes

What this adds over Starter:

  • Higher DR targets mean more impact per link
  • We develop specific content angles — data pieces, resource pages, expert perspectives — that attract links from authoritative sites
  • The strategy call means we adjust campaign direction monthly based on what is moving in your rankings

Realistic outcomes: Measurable ranking movement in moderate-to-high competition terms within 3–6 months. Compounding authority gains over 6–12 months.

Authority — from $5,000/month

Best for: Competitive industries, enterprise sites, companies targeting the highest-value keywords in tough niches.

What you get:

  • 15–25 manually placed links per month
  • DR 50–90 target range, including digital PR and journalist outreach
  • Dedicated campaign manager
  • Full content collaboration — we work with your team on link-worthy assets
  • Biweekly strategy calls
  • Advanced reporting including competitor link gap analysis
  • Access to our journalist and media relationships for digital PR placements

What this adds over Growth:

  • Volume at high DR. Not just more links — significantly better links.
  • Digital PR component: we pitch your data, research, or expert commentary to journalists and publications that do not respond to standard outreach
  • Competitor analysis built into the monthly workflow

Realistic outcomes: Aggressive ranking gains in high-competition terms. Significant DR improvements. The kind of link profile that becomes a long-term competitive moat.

What affects your pricing

The tiers above are starting points. Your actual cost may be higher or lower depending on:

Niche difficulty

Some niches are significantly harder to get links in than others.

Finance, health, cybersecurity, legal, and SaaS tend to be harder. Local services, e-commerce accessories, and hobby niches tend to be easier.

Harder niche = more outreach volume needed to get the same number of placements = higher cost.

DR targets

If you want links from DR 70+ sites, you need more effort to earn them. Those sites get more pitches, have higher editorial standards, and require better content angles.

Targeting a mix of DR 30–60 sites is faster and cheaper. Targeting DR 60–80+ sites is a different level of campaign.

Your existing content

We can build links to strong content. If your site has thin pages, no original research, no useful resources, and nothing worth linking to — outreach is an uphill battle.

Part of what we do at the strategy stage is identify whether your content is ready to support a link campaign, or whether we need to recommend content work first.

Monthly volume

More links per month costs more. Simple as that.

But there is a ceiling on quality at high volume. If you want 40 links a month from DR 50+ sites, that is a major operation with a corresponding price tag.

This is worth saying clearly.

You can buy links for $20 each. You can find agencies selling 20 links a month for $299. You can find Fiverr gigs promising 50 "high-DA" links overnight.

Do not do it.

Here is why:

Cheap links come from bad sites. The $20 link is going on a site with no real traffic, hundreds of outbound links per page, and domain metrics that are gamed with artificial signals. Google has seen every version of these sites.

Cheap links violate Google's guidelines. Mass link schemes are explicitly against Google's spam policies. The risk is not theoretical — sites have had their rankings wiped out by manual actions after buying cheap links.

Recovery is expensive. If you get hit by a link penalty or an algorithmic devaluation, recovering takes time, disavow work, and real link building investment. Cheap links have a very high true cost when you factor in the downside.

They do not compound. Real links from real sites build authority that compounds over time. Spam links get devalued, deindexed, or ignored. They do not age well.

See our white hat link building page for more on why this matters.

One-time vs ongoing

We do not offer one-off link packages.

Here is why: link building is a campaign, not a transaction. One month of links does not move the needle. Consistent link building over 3–6 months does.

We work on a minimum 3-month engagement for new clients. After that, it is month-to-month.

We do not lock you into 12-month contracts. We want to keep your business because the results are there, not because of a contract clause.

What is included in every package

Regardless of tier:

  • Full manual outreach — no network placements
  • Campaign strategy and anchor text planning
  • Monthly reporting with all link details
  • Direct communication with your campaign manager
  • No links from sites we would not want our own links on
  • No links hidden in widget injections, sitewide footers, or blogrolls

Custom campaigns

Need something that does not fit the tiers above?

Some clients need:

  • A specific number of links at a specific DR target
  • A one-niche-focused campaign (e.g., only .edu or only industry association links)
  • A white-label arrangement for their own clients
  • A higher-volume campaign in a specific timeframe

We can scope a custom campaign for any of those situations.

Get in touch and we will put together a proposal.
